Took Sydney to vets last Monday after a bought of diarrhoea not unwell running around doing everything a four month old should, as instructed put her on chicken and rice and gave her Kaolin, back again today no better, the Vet has advised to starve her for 18 hours and change her from Wainrights to dry chappie, only bought a big bag yesterday £42!!! I'm not eating any lunch as she is wandering around and going to her bowl :( you cant explain to a puppy why, but hopefully this will work now.

Poor love, its truly awful when we cant feed them, but Chappie ( wet and dry ) is excellent for upset tums, hoping she will be loads better soon .

I use Chappie in the event of upset tums but I go back to our normal dry food once they've settled back down. I hope she feels better soon, you have my sympathy I felt like the dodgy tums were never ending with Riley when he was young. A distant memory now :)

I'm looking at changing Lucy's food as her stools are soft and she goes 3-4 times a day but otherwise is perfectly healthy. She is approx 9 months olds, she is a Rescue Lab Cross. At the moment she is on dried food from Tails.com I'm glad Chappie is being recommended one of my previous rescue dog was put on Chappie by the vet though they didn't have dried food in them days I'm going back 40 years ago :) I'm thinking of trying her on the Chappie dried food to see if she is better on that.

try stopping the chicken use white boneless skinless fish instead. my vet advised chicken and rice when my pup was very ill with colitis. In the end I found it was actually the chicken in had an intolerance too and it was this that what gave him the tummy upset. I don't give chicken at all now and make sure the treats I use have no chicken in and he's fine.
