So called because since I made these Barney heels beautifully off lead. 2 over ripe bananas 1 tin coconut milk flour blend the banana and milk together until smooth. Add flour to make a soft dough. Roll out onto a non stick sheet. Whack into slow oven - about 160 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden. Turn oven off and allow to cool. Cut or break into bite size pieces. I was amazed at how mad they were for these and no fishy smell in the kitchen! bonus! I'd run out of rice flour so used wheat flour which makes a really stretchy dough due to all the gluten so I gave up trying to cut into neat biscuit shapes. Lexi the little dog loves them too, I keep forgetting how small she is and giving her lab sized treats - not that she cares but just as well she needs feeding up a bit
Re: Banana Heel Just wanted to say "Thank you" for this recipe. I have been trying to find a Vegan recipe for dog biscuits. My daughter is a Vegan. My little Grandaughter would love to give Molly a treat but isn't allowed to touch kibble as it contains dead animals. It was with great joy she was allowed to give Molly a biscuit. Dog enjoyed it too
Re: Banana Heel Thank you..have some left over coconut milk and some old bananas so going to give it a go later!
