Barbara, you mentioned you can't find a kennel that you would leave Riley in, have you thought about Home Dog Sitting? The lady that lets me use her paddock has just set up her own business doing dog walking and sitting. She is great and she knows what's she's doing as she also trains Guide Dogs. I see her out all the time walking every dog she looks after taking them into the woods etc. She also has a large house with lovely grounds and of course her paddocks. She charges £10 per day and £15 over night. I don't think it's any more expensive than Kennels but the advantage is they have their freedom. I will be using her WHEN we arrange a holiday.
