Re: Bionic leg gives a new lease of life to 3-legged GSD Interesting. I'm not at all sure about the saving of dogs from other countries (sorry guys) on the whole. I was wondering if the surgery was done with the possibility of a prosthesis. I know of a couple of Tri-pawds on FB and they are amputated quite high up (one was for bone cancer) and walk quite well with just the one front limb. It looked quite odd to see an amputation just above the knee. Looks like a lovely dog though.
