Black scab + lump on dog

Hi everyone,

I found this black scab with a fatty-like lump around it today. I don't believe it was there yesterday. I'm not sure what it is. I've attached some pictures. She is 6 years old. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

 

Hello and welcome to the forum . It could be a host of things , a bite or a thorn , but my advice would be to see a Vet , especially as it has come up so quickly , before it has chance to become infected, good luck , let us know !

Looks a bit like a bite... Definitely a visit to the vet.

 

Vet thought it was a wound from the bushes around my backyard or something similar. Ripped the scab off, drained with a syringe (was just blood), cleaned with chlorex and given amoxyclav (antibiotics).
