What's that all about? Anyone else have the blue/black spot on their tongue??? (Not me, Poppy I mean! )
Re: Blue spot on tongue hee hee, mine don't, though Brodick regularly has spots of I dread To Think What on his tongue, but just had to say how lovely Poppy looks there, she's beaming!
Re: Blue spot on tongue Just some black pigment I'd say. Same as on the inside of their mouths but on her tongue. She looks like she's enjoying a huge joke! Beautiful girl.
Re: Blue spot on tongue Blues spots here too. Hebe has a a large splodge in the middle of her tongue, it looks like she's licked a fountain pen! You can tell how hot she is / how hard she's working by how much of her ink blot is visible. Juno had a big brown spot under her tongue.
Re: Blue spot on tongue I'll have a look next time she's with me. Poor lamb is in kennels today as we're off to Italy for a few days from tomorrow. I don't think she does because she's black and her skin under the coat is a uniform grey all over as far as I can recall. Great photo! What's she laughing at?
Re: Blue spot on tongue She does have a very expressive face - when she is sad she looks all droopy and woebegone; when she is happy the world knows!!! Whereabouts in Italy are you going David? We had such a super time in Tuscany...
Re: Blue spot on tongue We're going to Sorrento this time. We usually go to the lakes, in particular Lake Como which we like very much. We normally stay in the Grand Hotel, Managgio which is very central and easy access to some good walking country by bus or boat. It's a long time since we've been to Tuscany, but yes very nice. In fact I like Italy full stop I think!
Re: Blue spot on tongue Oh yes Italy is lovely, we honeymooned in Tuscany. I prefer Garda to Como....better sailing ;D
Re: Blue spot on tongue what a lovely smiley face. I enjoyed lake Garda, and the mosquitos enjoyed me!!
Re: Blue spot on tongue We drove through the Italian / Swiss lakes area on the way to Tuscany. So beautiful (and not so far to drive for us!). May well be a destination for another time... Anyone know whether there are dog-friendly areas on the lake shores?
