Bouncer did me proud today. I took him to the vets for a health check (he has been off his food a bit). He was an absolute angel. There was a big great dane type dog who had cut his foot so had a lampshade on his head & a plastic bag on his foot, he was making all sorts of fuss barking & growling (not at Bouncer, just to the world in general). Bouncer just sat there & looked at him.
After the big guy left everyone was praising Bouncer, what a good boy & isnt he handsome?

Then I heard "that must be Bouncer" I turned to find the vet stood behind me, he had been watching for a min or so.

The Vet said he was perfectly in proportion, just the right size & wieght. The feeding issue is because he is teething.

He asked me how much training I did as Bouncer seemed so well behaved, I had to reply honestly "not enough". He just seemed to be having a good day. I left with a big beaming smile on my face, one very proud puppydaddy.

Bouncer then saw a squirrel & nearly pulled me over ::) lol, back to reality.

Well done Bouncer, extra treats for you tonight.

    It's great when that happens.
I think its like kids, really.
If there is a child or dog playing up, it makes your own look like an angel :)

Sounds like he did really well though. 8)
    Definitely extra treats. :) :)

What an extremely good boy :) Glad it's just the teething that's making him a bit less keen on his dinner.

Aw, he sounds like a sweetie. Rue is the complete opposite in the waiting room at the vets! She freaks out. Hoping it gets better with each visit.

Bella LOVES to go to the vet...she Loves Dr. Nancy and gets treats while she is there...so it's been nothing but positive even with the jabs....

funny story tho...we were in last week, and there was a small Corgi in the cone of shame....Yoda was his name...he was being a bit whiney, but not too bad....he and Bella were exchanging salutations from across the room, so when it was our turn to head to the back room...I asked Yoda's dad if she could sniff and say hi...he readily agreed, and kneeled down next to Yoda....we came over on a tight lead and sniffed and licked....and Yoda lifted his leg and peed on his dad :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[      whoops....sorry about that!

Bella and I just went to our assigned room.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think I'd better send Lucan to you for lessons!

He announced his arrival at the vets today by barking at a man holding a Jack Russell as we walked in the door, then wouldn't stay still for the vet to examine him. ::) He's so laid back at home but becomes an over excited hooligan at the vets! At least we managed to get in and out without him cocking his leg this time. :-[
