Pongo loves his special bedtime biscuits, but the packet always ends up with about 20% of them crmbled into tiny pieces at the bottom. I put some of the crumbs in his kong, but I'd much rather reconstitute them into biscuit -sized blocks. Can anyone recommend an easy and healthy way? Bind with egg and bake? Mix with melted butter? Something else?

Oh heck ,I'm a baker but I'm a bit out of my depth on this one.....I don't bake for Dex.I'd say no to the melted butter though...I soak kibble to go into the Kongs, the amount of water dictates the sogginess of the kibble ....how about soaking them slightly and then freezing them in an ice cube Tray? You wouldn't have biscuits but you'd have blocks of the ingredients ?

I'd just make them into rum balls...er...without the rum, butter or sugar! :D Seriously, just find a suitable oil - even salmon oil would do - bind the crumbs, roll into balls and chill.

Add a tin of sardines or tuna, bind with egg put in a tin, cook for about 30 minutes in a tray, cool, chop into small cubes and freeze! lovely healthy, no additive dog treats :)

A this time of year its the ice-cube season. Mix them with a little water to make some paste, then freeze them in an ice-cube tray. perfect for dogs on a hot day.
