Alright, I know this is a strange question, but, What are the Swirls' of fur on the lower rump end of my boy. It's not those anal sacs. Is it simply ornamental? Two sections of fur that go round and round below his bum. Simply genetics? (I'm tempted to paste the googly eyes. but I shan't) Just a question.
Well I think that Bum Swirls is as good a name as any! It’s just the way the fur goes.. My dog Obi also has Bum Swirls but I too will refrain from posting photographic evidence
Just the way the fur grows, like we might have a parting or cowlick. I love those bum swirls, they were so cute on Maisy but her fur is so much longer there now and you can't really notice them.
Oh jeez, @snowbunny beat me to it and she has the best one. But I'll tell you anyway. ON the other Lab forum someone posted a back end view of their dog and the rest of us had a great time identifying the breed of the other dog's head we all saw so clearly in the swirls.
