Can dogs really tell the time?

    Did you watch the programme last night?? With the wonderful Chris Packham? If you didn't see it, it is worth finding on I-player for the first five minutes alone - a search and rescue sprocker whose abilities are outstanding. Won't spoil it though if you haven't already seen it... ;) ;D ;D

    Great prgramme last night with Chris Packham. We really enjoyed it but didn't know it was on til we spotted it in the menu!

    I think that, for my dogs anyway, its a case of knowing the sequence of events and expecting this sequence to always be the same ?
    So , morning they start roaming at about 7 , let them out, they go back to bed but then get up half an hour later for their breakfast , I think its more about habit that actually telling the time ?
    Having said that , I sometimes wonder if they have more communication than we give them credit for :)
