I'm thinking about getting into canicross (or maybe bikejor - though I think my kind of mountain biking might be a bit much for my pups)
My black dog Toby LOVES to run, so he seems like my best candidate... does anyone do canicross with any clubs etc? Would love to hear if people enjoy it and how you got into it.

I've heard of this but don't know anything about it. Would you describe it a little? Would love to know more as it sounds terrific! :)

I started it with barley a few years ago as he used to love to run especially when he got treats at the end but we had to stop when his hips got worse.

When puzzle is over a year old i am going to start it with her.

We never went to any clubs but will when we start puzzle with it as she would be more sutible to running with a group of dogs.

I havent done it but have looked on their website. It looks good and once iv done the couch to 5k with murphy i will look into it again. It made me laugh on the website as it has a section about teaching your dog to pull! I had to read it twice to actually believe it was telling people how to encourage their dog to pull when most spend their lives trying to stop them pulling! Lol.

I WISH I could do it - but I'm an awful runner. Great exercise for you and the dog both, for sure!!
