Carrying new puppy for socialisation

    Do you carry your pup in your arms or is there something you can strap to yourself to carry them in? Not sure what's best.

    Carrying a growing Lab pup can be quite a strain can't it! :)

    If it isn't safe to put your puppy on the ground you can use a puppy sling. This is the one I used for my recent puppy (it is too small for a Lab but they do larger ones). Some people use a shoulder bag, dummy bag or game bag of some kind.

    I bought a baby sling from amazon and that worked fine

    I carried our puppy a few times before he’d had all his jabs, but the last time he thought our 3 year old son running on the ground looked lots of fun and wanted to get down... the wriggling was so bad we had to turn round and go home!
