    Hi all,

I recently changed Maisie's food and since then I've noticed that she is scavenging a lot when we are out and about. Before this she really wasn't bothered about eating everything and anything when we were out. I wonder if this is a coincidence and just a part of growing up or if the food doesn't suit her and she is not satisfied? Anyone else experienced this?

Can only say when we changed Elsie from puppy food to adult her scavenging stopped immediately so I would say food does have effect.

Harley didn't use to scavenge for food until she was about 6 month old.....then it was anything remotely tasty ;)

Very rarely now, but if she scents something tasty like cake or chips then yes :/

Charlie scavenges if he's on a diet! ;D

Other than that, it's controllable. He was worse with sticks until he was about a year old - he'd pick up ever single stick he came across and crunch them up, sometimes swallowing (then sicked them up later). Used to get very annoying on walks. He still does it a bit, but not so bad.
