Whilst I have been dressing Hattie's foot Charlie has looked on with that very curious look on his face. Suddenly a little cry/whimper and whistle noise from him, then he tries very gently to remove the dressing. Not really what we want Charlie, but the concern for his friend is there!!! He keeps checking out her selection of socks too! What a funny boy he is!! :D Helen xx

Hattie's foot looks a bit better after your treatment advice Kerryn, thank you. She hasn't had a walk for 2 days now and she is looking quite sad when we leave with Charlie. Do you think it would be ok to take her out tomorrow? Helen x

That's good news. If it look like it's healing well I don't see why not, just check it when you get back.

Thanks Kerryn, it's still an open wound but no yukky stuff and she's not limping now so I will take her on a shorter walk tomorrow, clean and dress it again when we get back and see how she goes. I suppose it's just one of those wounds that can take some time to heal. Helen x
