These are a special treat as they contain cheese but are hugely popular with my two. 8oz chicken livers, 4oz grated cheese, 10oz rice flour, 1 egg. blend liver in a food processor. immediately wash food processor so it doesn't dry - dried on liver is a nightmare to clean, combine rest of ingedients to make a soft dough. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick cut into shapes/sizes you want and bake in oven for 25 mins or until golden brown at 180C. Keep in airtight container in the fridge. Tip: to make them even crunchier leave in the over to cool ideally overnight - just turn off the cooker at the end of the 25 minutes - this gradually dehydrates the biscuits rather than bake them any longer.
Re: Cheddery Liver Crunchies I made this recipe minus the cheese a week ago - and it's amazing how the recalls etc have improved - I thought it was wind or something but it seems it was going back to shop brought biscuits! They race back now at the prospect of a treat ;D
