It's the guide dog match a mile event this morning and NO CAPE! Also they haven't listed the event on just giving, so it's a bit of a "no go" at the mo. Still, I will try to take some photos; lots of dogs running out of shot!

Oh well, maybe you can get a cape at the end. Have a good day anyway! I'm sure she'll love it.

I was so embarrassed. All the guide dogs just plodded along nicely and Chepi just wanted to play. Useless photos so I won't put them on here. But if you are from Surrey and get the Surrey Herald (Ithink) they took lots of photos. You can easily tell us apart from the others

Walking with other dogs is quite difficult for a young Labrador. "What? No playing? You've got to be kidding me...". But, if you want to be able to do something with your dog, you've got to go try to do it - otherwise you never go anywhere or do anything. So look on it as the first attempt, the next one will be better.

It will have been GREAT practice for the guide dog pups....ignoring distractions.....what a lovely idea for Chepi to have helped with their training.
(Lilly would have been the same....even at 5 years old!)
