I decided to let Bailey have the run of the kitchen while I'm at work, which has been fine... No toilet accidents. The only issue I'm having is that he's chewed one leg on one of the chairs. Should I remove the chair, leave it and hope he stops or does that spray repellant actually work?

When mine were pups, they loved chewing the wooden doorframe. I tried three different repellent sprays, two Spanish branded ones and then Grannick's Bitter Apple (which you can buy on Amazon). The first two did nothing, but the Grannick's definitely worked. So, you could try that, but the only way to guarantee 100% that he won't do it is by removing the chair.
He should grow out of it in time; in the meantime, does he have anything else he can chew? Frozen kongs, chew toys, some people use a knotted tea towel, soaked in water and frozen, for a few ideas.

He's got loads of toys and a couple of Kongs. I just thought that if I took that chair out he might start chewing another one, and it seems that taking all the chairs out might make him chew them later on. I'll try the spray I think. I was expecting chewed furniture so it's not the end of the world. I just wondered if anyone had the solution. Thanks for the advice.

Bitter apple works for us but you have to re-apply it reasonably regularly.

Just tried Bitter Apple with Ripple on the door frame - he loves it! Licked it all off then went back to the chewing.
He has loads of chew toys but obviously the door frame is better.

I bought some when Mabel arrived and she loved it, now at the ripe old age of 9 months she doesn't chew skirting boards any longer. She is now addicted to Kongs.
