How time flies! My boy is one today! He got an extra salmon strip for being good during ear cleaning, a new flat indestructible (like the snakes) bright blue toy - it's not possible to determine what animal it is - extra tummy rubs, and we did his morning physio with a few sea biscuits instead of kibble. No other extra birthday food allowed, unfortunately.

We'll go to the woods later, if he isn't limping (was limping a bit last night for the first time in ages) and I don't have to drive miles to find the ear specialist (who is working elsewhere today) because Charlie's ear is super sore now. It's not fair, having a sore ear on your birthday. Charlie says he needs more tummy rubs to make up for that.
