Hi everyone was just wondering if there were any other chocolate female lab owners out there who are currently going through the puppy stage about seven months or so (or have already done so ) . My chocolate is vastly different at seven months in comparison to my yellow I was just wondering what other people's experiences have been like. Thank you!

I have a chocolate girl and have previously had yellow girls. I've also had cocker spaniels, and cross breeds. I'm also a dog trainer and the one thing I can say is that each and every dog is an individual just as we humans are. Breeds might have recognised 'traits' but each and every dog is an individual and we have to work with them on that basis and not compare them with a previous 'perfect' dog who never did anything wrong - I can probably guarantee that they did but we have rose tinted glasses when we look back :)

I've had 3 chocolate labs (all boys) each one a completely different personality, I don't remember my previous boys ever behaving as badly as this one:rolleyes:. Completely agree with @Jojo83 every dog is an individual (and some are more individual than others :D).

I have a nine-month old choccy girl and three year old yellow boy and black girl. All vastly different. Lots to do with breeding, lots "just because".
