Re: CLA Game Fair 2015
Oooo - home. Well, West of home but close enough!
Same as I was thinking. The boyfriend and I do love the CLA so depending on how it fits in I may be there although Inca won't be ready for such a big day out this year. Will definitely go to the Scottish game fair this year.

Re: CLA Game Fair 2015 My tickets have arrived,my tickets have arrived!my Mother in law has just called me! ;D
Ha ha ha,I'm just looking at the date of my original post....seriously I am a nightmare aren't I? I was just so excited about this event because a lot of members were talking about it last year so really wanted to make it this year. I know that a few have already commented to say you are going, 'The Clumbers' will be easily found I'm sure and would be really nice if anyone else is there and wants to grab a cuppa and a chat...let me know and we can think of a rendezvous.I have tickets for the 3 days x Very excited
Oooh still thinking about it. David said he is taking me away for a child free weekend of my choice, so this could be it!! It would be lovely to meet up with forum members. Will let you know!! xx
Oh Helen do it!I'd love to meet you.....promise I won't crowd in on your Romantic Weekend away though......bet David wasn't quite envisaging huge acreage and working animals whe he offered to whisk you away though! Harrogate is close by and it is a very pretty town to stay in...you could sample the World Famous Betty's Tea Rooms...says she who hasn't been there EVER in 16 years of being with a Yorkshireman! X
Oh Angela, David's face was a picture when I suggested the Game Fair!! But… he did ask It would be great to meet you Angela that's for sure xxx
We are both going, as long as poor hubbys leg is OK..he broke his left leg this week... Hoping to stay somewhere nice overnight so we can really enjoy the show..now to sweet talk my mum to stay over with the dogs
Oh bad news, how did he manage that?Ouch for sure.Is it still 6 weeks in plaster for a fracture.... Let me know and if you make it there ,would be lovely to see you x
Euwww, yes, very sorry to hear about Mr Beanwood's leg. I'm a definite still, Angela- we have tickets for both Fri and Sat. On Friday I think all 4 of us are going to wander round, with Merla. We might do a few scurries but will also do some general browsing. Saturday, my brother-in-law is joining us, and I think I'm going to leave Merla at the house with my son. I might send OH to show his brother round while I do the 'dog zone' properly and watch some demos etc. It would be great to meet up if we can coordinate it, either or both days whichever works for you
Brill that sounds lovely, would love to meet you and see Merla and even more so her doing a scurry Nearer the time I'll send you a contact and we can arrange a rendezvous....shall I carry a camel so you know me?
Great time at the CLA - basked in the sun on Friday and survived the rain undaunted on Saturday afternoon (to be honest, I prefer that to the stifling heat at Blenheim last year). So exciting to meet Angela and Barbara, and gorgeous Riley and adorable Obi-spaniel Watched some fab displays; the Clumbers were fantastic- so much speedier and busier than I imagined and I was so impressed by the labs doing the Working Trials demo. Photos to come hopefully when we have decent broadband again!
