The tree pollen is ridiculous here at the moment. Everything is absolutely covered. A walk ends up with two dogs looking like this:

All the dogs around at the moment are suffering with the pollen. You can see his eyes are a bit gooey. I'm washing their eyes out several times a day with those little tubes of sterile saline, but how do I clean up their nostrils? A cotton bud wasn't greeted with the greatest enthusiasm! I considered putting a dot of honey or similar on their noses at the end of the walk, to make them lick it well.

    Or any other advice?

Last year with the plane trees pollen and the heat, Charlie had a dip in his paddling pool after every walk and that did the trick. Charlie sticks his head under water for no reason and at any opportunity though.

That would work for Willow, but Shadow doesn't like putting his head under (such a princess - can't get wet hair!). I could try squeezing a wet sponge, maybe. That might be seen as a game. Or put some ice cubes into a deep bowl of water for him to grab at....

Maybe try floating a few bits of kibble in a bucket? Dunking for kibble is a good game for Charlie anyway,
