Wow - my local gundog training club is offering a clicker seminar in June, run by my friend Sonja (she with the deaf border collie who trains with us and retrieves so well). I've never done any clicker training at all - do you think it might be worth signing up for it? As you know Poppy is pretty well trained, and most of the issues I have with her are ones at a distance, so I'm not sure clicker training would be useful for that...

Don't know if it would help with your training Karen but it would be interesting all the same and it is a friend running it so you would be supporting her too :) x

Why not? It would be fun and Poppy won't be your only dog. It could be useful skills to pick up for any puppies on the way ;) ;) ;)

Give it a go :) You probably will find that it's not so different to what you've always done, if you use a marker word and some kind of reward :)
