Can anyone recommend plastic cones to use for training? I have looked on Amazon and they seem to vary a lot in price and quality. I want ones that are sturdy so can be used outside although initially I intend to use them inside.

Can't recommend anything specific but worth looking at companies that specialise in agility equipment and then perhaps compare with Amazon.

I've got very similar - they're thin & light, but good for what I wanted. I've used them for marking courses, moving around them, hiding stuff under. I have a single taller cone for other work where I want it visible from a distance - more of a target (I think that was from eBay). I also have a set of short pointy cones I picked up in Aldi last year (for sports/football training?), but haven't used them yet - keep an eye out there when the weather gets better.

I bought these from Kmart for $5 (roughly £2.90 I think). Do you have Kmart there?

I bought a set of plastic cones but can’t find a photo. I think they must have been from ebay and I think they cost around £12 for six. They are plastic, similar shape to the ones Emily posted, but solid sides, 10 inches high I think. They are light to carry ( I need to take them to the park) and don’t seem to blow over, though I haven’t tried in high wind. They will tip over if you knock them.

I'm pretty sure that Squidge is going to have a field day collecting them all and doing laps of honour when I get them :D

Will look forward to the photos of the cones in use in due course @Atemas :)

I'm still deliberating but have found a site which also has some other interesting kit and not at ridiculous prices. All I need to do is decide whether I buy them for me as a birthday present, or an early birthday present for my girl :) :)

Is it a set of five, or a set of 12?
I was having visions of you getting 5 x 12 cones :cwl:

It’s a set of 5 :). The mind boggles at the thought of 60 :D.

Yes I’ll do that. Just need to decide exactly what I am going to do .
