Hi everyone, Has anyones dog had conjunctivitis? Milo has had it for over 2 weeks my vet prescribed drops but now told me to stop them and clean his eyes with saline solution. Just asking as it seems to be never ending.
My pup had it on and off for months when she was a young pup, it's really not uncommon in them. I was prescribed creams, drops and gels, all so difficult to apply in a wriggling pup, which is why I think it kept returning. She had quite a few tests to check there was not a serious condition or allergy. She was prescribed human eye drops eventually, celuvisc, probably similar to what your vet has recommended. It eventually went.
