I've been away, working, for a few days - Charlie has been misbehaving on holiday with OH. Got back to be with Charlie today. Took him of for a 2 hour romp around the fields on a circular walk - great fun, out in the fresh air for both of us. Half way along, realise the field we were walking through had been "manured" with cow poo. Fastest way out of the field was to keep walking, quickly. Charlie rolled and rolled and rolled. He rolled in cow poo for half a mile.... When I put him in the defender he stank of cow poo. Absolutely stank. I drove home with the windows open....I get home and took him down to the beach to throw him in the sea which removed about 50% of the smell. Back home to a full shampoo followed by a rub over with flower scented grooming wipes.... Talking to OH later, and find out this has been going on all week. Roll in cow poo, get an extra trip to the beach... The whole house now has a whiff of flower scented cow poo about it....
Re: Cow Poo Pup.... Charlie may be a hooligan, but he's a smart hooligan!! Well done, Charlie!!! ;D ;D ;D Mmm, flower scented cow poo
Re: Cow Poo Pup.... You need 'Cow Poo No-More'. It's a powder that you put in your dog's food and, anytime they roll in anything, it instantly makes the dog smell of flowers.

Re: Cow Poo Pup.... Well done Charlie. Seems that best plan to avoid the cow poo is a trip straight to the beach
Re: Cow Poo Pup.... Cow poo? You found a whole field of it Charlie??....you is the man! (Benson says.... 8))
Re: Cow Poo Pup.... yeah, a whole field where someone had gone to the trouble to make sure the cow poo was carefully spread across ALL OF IT! ;D ;D ;D
My lab is constantly rolling in deer poop. Is there anything that I can do to keep him from doing this?
Hey there Marlowe1986 welcome to the forum! Wish I had the answer to that one. Teaching a really strong "leave it" and having eyes like a hawk is maybe your best bet.
What a Star Charlie Welcome Marlowe1986 to the forum. Sorry I can't help you with the rolling in deer poo. I very grateful that Fred has never rolled in anything (yet!), but he does like muddy water.
