    Hi

I suspect an old question but I can find nothing to hang my hat when doing a search.

Happy to take any advice on how big a crate I should be getting for my 5 month old puppy. She is crate trained and happy to be in one overnight and travellingm thoug we do not intend to keep her in one when travelling - neither car is big enough and we're not upsizing.

Are there any rules i should apply to selecting the right size crate for static use. Or is the broader question of "is a 36" crate or 42" crate the way to go".

Our dog is a black bitch with relatively small parents.

    All help appreciated.

    Andy

42" is best for an adult Lab

I moved to the 42" crate from around 5-6 months of age to allow plenty of room to spread out and sleep or just relax.
