Crate training harry is being a slight challenge, he wee's in there if he's in there, once I take him outside for a wee and he don't go he will go straight to his crate for one. Thinking about taking the crate away for a while!! Any suggestions??

    Thank you

Also he has a seperate bed in the same room as his crate, could this be an issue?

    Hi there,

If you want to use a crate as a house training aid, it needs to be his one and only bed. Otherwise there is no incentive for him to keep it clean.

The crate also needs to be small. His bed should fill it Like this one . Your best bet is to put the bed he sleeps in (or part of it) into a small crate, and remove all other beds. The crate needs to be his special den. Then he will keep it clean.

Today I've had a wee on command, he sat by the back door and howled so let him out and he squeezed out a poo!! He has been fantastic in his crate today, hopefully will carry on tonight!!
