Hi! We just brought our 8 week old chocolate lab home 5 days ago. She’s been an angel to crate train and is already going out to potty very well. She cried the first 2 nights but now goes into the crate willingly and loves to snuggle in her bed. We either lucked up and got a chill dog or adolescence will be hell. We already love her so much! How did your puppies personality change or did they stay the same as they got older?
Awesome! My older dog was similar - good girl from day one, never jumped or counter surfed as she grew. Very chill in the house and we brought her everywhere, no issues. Slightly challenging with recall as a teen but honestly the easiest dog. My puppy is the polar opposite in personality! Both stayed similar from puppies to adulthood (calming down of course as they get older).
