Thought this might be of interest to some. Since getting my rescue pup a few months ago my wife has been keen to know what she is (looks like a lab but much smaller). I am also interested to know so that I can make sure she is on the correct food etc (currently on pup food specifically for labs) and to know what ailments etc she may be prone to. Spotted the Wisdom pack on Pets at Home and Amazon for £60 a while back. Looked today and it is now on Pet at Home online for £40!!. Go to checkout and £20 offer is applied to your order. Needless to say I have mine ordered. Good Luck
Interested to hear your results. How about you post some pictures of her and let us lot guess, then see how close we are?
Oooh sounds interesting. At that price I'd have been keen if we still had Belle. Look forward to seeing your results. I like Fiona's idea - let us guess
I would like to have a guess please. Our Charlie is a rescue dog and I have always been very curious as to his breed. We were told he is a Labrador x Pointer which I think is really close because of his behaviour and characteristics but you never know!!
Hadn't thought about posting photos, but excellent idea. I think it takes a few weeks for the whole process, so I will update the thread in January.
My rescue lab is huge and I was convinced he was a cross. Turns out he's pedigree back to great grandparents. Fun to find out.
Wisdom DNA test, took a few weeks as the swab goes to the state's to be tested. I didn't state what kind of dog he was, just his age and weight.
I am a new lab puppy owner. We got him from a girl that was just too busy for a pet . She said he was 8 mos. We took him to the Vet , he is about 14 weeks old. His name is Ranger. He has super long legs, the vet thought he might be part Great Dane and told us about the DNA test. As soon as I locate one , we are going to do it
