Hard to tell from the photos..did you not know from the breeders who the parents were ? Or was your pup an adoption ?
We bought it in a shop for labrador, He is only 17 months and looks very big. We love him very much but I thought just to ask since in this Forum there is a lot of knowledge. One of my friends said to me that Labradors are not so big, and I thought to ask.
Hi He certainly looks like a labrador. What country are you in? We don’t have shops selling dogs in the UK anymore. Did you get any papers with him indicating who his parents are? You could measure him and check with the size for a standard lab but I have seen some very small labs and some very tall that would not fit into that standard. How much does he weigh?
He looks like he is just going to be a tall lab probably going through a slightly lanky teenage phase. Be careful he doesn’t pile on too much weight and put pressure on his joints. Some of the photos seem to have disappeared.
