Not just squat when they wee but also "cock a leg"? For ages now Lilly lifts her right leg off the ground about 2-3" when she squats. A friend who knows a fair bit about doggy behaviour says its part of the marking process - trying to wee higher just like boys do. I have never seen another bitch doing this though. Then I thought she had stood on a nettle or had something in her paw :-\ Just spotted her in the garden with a normal squat so suspect it is a marking thing as she only really started doing it within the last year and I dont usually watch her in the garden. Re: Does anyone else's bitch.......? Well, Obi is not a bitch but I'd like to report that he has only recently starting cocking his leg to wee. He is quite bad at it (very poor aim). And although he usually manages to poo in one spot he does at least three poos on each walk. Where I live you can get an on-the-spot fine for not carrying a plastic bag (if you have a dog with you) so I always have plastic bags spilling out of every pocket. Why can't they just do one poo, in one spot, once?
