Does Brewer's Yeast in puppy food prevent fleas?

I've heard that a tiny sprinkle of Brewer's Yeast in the puppy's food will keep fleas away. Anyone know anything about this?

I think the food can not prevent. You need using the Shampoo. It's good for your dog and cat
