Hello everyone!!!! Just wanted some advice on car harnesses. I am getting a crate for the car but one of our cars is quite small and I like to use that car the most. So does anyone know of a good car harness which is also suitable for a Volvo (the clix car safe harness which I nearly bought stated that there were problems if used with a Volvo car)?
Re: Dog car harness Hello there This was discussed quite recently, here: http://www.thelabradorforum.com/index.php?topic=6596.msg88549#msg88549 And there are several links to properly crash tested harnesses. Hope that helps, let us know if not.
Re: Dog car harness I have a Solvit harness and just love it! It is easy to put on and has wonderful padding! It's even a breeze putting on a squirmy pup! My boy is 6 months and will be over 80 pounds at least and I bought him the EX large! Website is solvitproducts.com. I will try to attach a picture! good quality and strong securing to the seatbelt! It may be available on Amazon and other dog product sites. Hope this helps!
Re: Dog car harness Do make sure your harness is independently crash tested (not just claimed to be safe by the manufacturer). Most harnesses would fail in a crash as the clips are too weak. A proper car harness is very solid and chunky. Do a lot of reading first
