    Hi Everyone
Our young Labrador puppy Lucy had a small thorn on her nose - between her eyes - which we gently plucked out but it has left a small but very visible white mark as some hairs came out as well. She has had no after effects from the little procedure but wriggled alot!! Will the hair grow back because some of the hair may have taken the follicles with them?
    Would welcome any thoughts, thanks
    Ian

    Welcome to the forum :)

Hair that's come out by the roots can take a long time to grow back, so you might just have to wait. Maybe a couple of months. I would expect that it all will grow back though, assuming that it was just a tiny puncture wound.

Thank you for the welcome and your response to my query Rachael. I thought that was the case but wanted another opinion.

It can take a long time. Mollie had a scratch on her nose which became whiter and more visible as time went on, it took about four months to become covered again.

    :)
