Hi! Does anyone use a dog sleeping bag when camping? I’ve looked on Amazon.uk and some are very pricey others cheaper, but none with many reviews. Thanks
Not a sleeping bag, but mine wear either coats or fleece PJs when it's cold camping. The most important thing to keep warm when camping is insulation from the ground, so either a nice thick bed, or ideally a raised bed.
Thinlight foam pad 1/8" thick. Typically comes in a roll 20" x 60" that you can cut down. Inexpensive. I made a cover that I made of Climashield Apex with a dynema waterproof cover. Attaches with velcro to the pad. System is very light weight but effective. Or, as I have done in lower temps below 32F I'll put his front legs through the the sleeves of my down jacket that will cover his back. But as 5labs said the ground pad is the most critical.
