I just wanted to share a brilliant book that I'm reading at the moment in case anyone is looking for recommendations. It's called "Training the Dog in Front of You" by Denise Fenzi. It's really helping me to understand Luna for the dog she is, and to help her be successful. As a totally inexperienced dog owner, before Luna joined our family I naively assumed that all Labradors would have the same temperament and that if we followed a generic "Labrador" training plan, then all would be well. This book is really helping to remind me that all dogs are individuals and can be set up for success in very different ways. Definitely worth a read......

After you've read that one, read Denise's 'Focus and Engage' - you'll find that great too :)
