hello I have 5 month black lab Murphy was just wondering if anyone else's puppy never barks ?? I've only ever heard Murphy bark once when he was about 8 wks old !! He is well socialised and meets lots new people and dogs on daily basis !! Is it a case of some dogs bark others don't ? X
Shh! Don't complain about a dog that doesn't bark . You are not alone though, Juno rarely barks, when she does it usually makes us jump as it's so unusual.
Hi! Maisie didn't start barking until she was about 6-7 months old. Make the most of it, I'm sure she will find her voice!
Be very thankful Sam rarely barks , doesn't bother when the doorbell rings , but then , we do have Millie I guess Sam thinks , why have a dog and bark yourself
I can count the times my dog has barked on one hand, ok maybe two....be thankful for quiet Labradors, I say! Big advantage of the breed (often, of course, loads of Labs do bark).
Yes I suppose if he barked constantly I'd be moaning lol just would like hear him as be intrigued how he would sound !! But sure one day he will find his voice I'll prob jump out my skin to X
My one Lab had a squeaky bark when a puppy and I was amused that, like a boy, his voice broke and he has a very deep bark now

Eric didn't really bark till this week! (10 months old) He hasn't barked much but he barked incessantly at the man who came to fix the fridge. I'd put him in his crate and he wanted to be out to lick him to death!
Like mentioned previously ,enjoy the silence x Mine barks at the door bell and if he sees someone he doesn't really know in the garden ....like the gardener or a maintenance man......I don't mind a few good woofs but for such a mini lab Dexter has a really deep,loud bark so we trained a 'quiet' so we didn't frighten visitors toooooooo much !
