We've got a double trial coming up on Sunday (one in the morning and one in the arvo - held by the same club).

Our only other attempt at Rally Advanced resulted in Ella doing zoomies in the ring. Therefore, the pass mark for this weekend is Ella staying with me and making it through the course!!

I have also decided that I will watch her really closely and, if needed, will take hold of her collar and withdraw from the event BEFORE she has a chance to leave my side.

I'll try and get someone to video it for me... Just in case anyone wants a laugh

Sorry, no videos! Ella was a little obsessed with my friend and her GR so they went back to their car when we went in the ring so that there was less chance of Ella running out of the ring to get to them.

Well we got one pass and one fail so not too bad! I was incredibly pleased with the pass, Ella was fantastic and didn't appear stressed at all. I worked really hard on remaining calm (I have a habit of rushing through everything when I get nervous) and I think it helped.

The attempt in the afternoon was over very quickly o_O. Firstly, the lady taking our lead from us walked straight up to Ella (usually they stand near your right shoulder so you pass the lead back to them) which made her jump and then she decided to jump up to say hello:rolleyes:. Then the first station had toys. That was the end of it. She sniffed the first toy, I asked to retry the station (I should have just left it and kept going) then she sniffed the other toy, went around the wrong side of the cone and wandered towards the judge. I called her back, she trotted back to me and I withdrew. The judge was lovely and said I could keep going but I'd had enough
