Eevee is going to the vets tomorrow to have her hips and elbows x-rayed. decided to stay local. also whilst she's under they're going to take bloods to have a look at her thyroid. the vet has a 'hunch' which might be something but might be nothing. we'll see looking forward to this being over. she's not a massive vet fan so she'll be rather fed up. lack of food will seriously annoy her in the morning! wish her luck!
Re: E. dog in the vets tomorrow Good luck tomorrow, hope all goes well and you get the results you want.
Re: E. dog in the vets tomorrow I've taken up knitting again. i find it passes time quite quickly and doesn't include food. knitting a christmas present! now that's bleeding organised. not famed for my organisation. i hope it's alright and the vet's hunch is wrong. thanks all for your kind thoughts. i'll let you know when i get her home. she hates the vets - hates them fiddling with her. she likes to hide behind my husband's leg which is sadly not going to be possible tomorrow. it's funny as she likes the poodle parlour but then they don't shove stuff in her.
Re: E. dog in the vets tomorrow Good Lord. Not picking her up until between 3 and 4. Loooong day. dragging already!
Re: E. dog in the vets tomorrow I thought i'd written on here. Sorry. We got her home about 3 ish. she was a bit wobbly and didn't want to run round with honey dog who was so excited to see her she wanted to hoolie. she was whining quite a lot but that has stopped now. she needed a massive wee which i assume she'd held most of the day. i'm told her hips look a bit shallow but will see more on the x-ray myself on tuesday. elbows look fine but again more thorough look then. with that clicking etc. that is a relief that there's nothing massively noticeable any wya. she comes from very well hip tested stock so it would be a massive shame if they turned out too bad. she's never limped back end at all, never even looked a touch shaky. sometimes she runs funny but only in an uncoordinated puppy kind of way. certainly never any stiffness etc. these things are never easy. thyroid will be sent off next week so it'll take a while to find that out. thanks for everyone's concern sarah
