What time does the barking start and does he/she need to go out straight away when you go down?

3:25am here. Trying to decide what to tomorrow am about it. I am thinking maybe keeping him up at 10PM to see if he will be up a little later.

It’s a tricky one. Toby is two and wakes around 6 every morning but that is mainly because when he was younger my husband was getting up then to go to work. We got into the habit of feeding him then. He now wakes at that time wanting his breakfast. Completely our own fault. However it is a little whine that builds and can generally be ignored for at least half an hour. Barking not so easy!

Yes i was thinking maybe we have caused it too by giving her her dinner as soon as we go down to her. Oh well shall just have to put up with it!! Polly is my 7th lab and have never had one who barks so much
