Ears

    My four month old black Labrador puppy has fairly small ears that do not flop down in the usual Labrador way, as she gets older will they develope in the normal Labrador style or not and if desired can they or should they be corrected.

    They should not be "corrected", no. I'm sure she looks perfectly lovely whatever her ears do. A few people have posted on here about their labs ears sticking up when they are teething - I think they flopped back down again later, so it would appear to be normal.
    Did you buy her with a pedigree? Could she have some cross-breeding in her somewhere?

    I wouldn't want to correct them. They are what make her unique. They also may change in time:) My lab Axel has a goofy kink in his tail, but I love it because it makes him unique :rolleyes:
