Whilst I was distracted by a kerfuffle going on outside my neighbours house, Maisie ate 2 paper muffin cases. I know lots of forum dogs have eaten many things much worse and have been fine but understandably I am a little nervous. Presumably I just keep an eye on her and look out for any signs she's uncomfortable or if she's sick?

Should be fine. I would not worry about that. Muffin cases are small fry and should pass through with no problem (or she might sick them up). I'm assuming they once contained muffins? :)

Aww little monkey, sure she will be fine, are they the baking paper sort? If she ate the muffins as well they wil prabably help the muffin cases transition through the gut :)

She is a Labrador. I would be astonished if any normal Labrador suffered ill effects from 2 paper muffin cases...did she eat the muffins too?

Don't worry - I've got a muffin case eater here too and never been any ill effects. Just to be clear, though. She steals them!

Trying to recall who's dog it was that ate the muffins along with their silicone cases, and many months later the "extruded" cases were found in a field.
I thought it might have been Lynne's Jasper, but nothing came up on a search - enjoyed looking at Lynne's posts though :)
