I’m interested to hear of any experiences from breeders who have had issues with entropion in pups of their own litters. I have just had a second litter of pups from my girl. First litter in 2020 was fabulous, no issues at all. This time at six weeks one of the boys developed entropion in one eye, and the other day has been confirmed in other eye too. Now one of the girls has a slight case of it in one eye. I’m devastated by this and wonder what I may have done wrong as I know it’s not simply hereditary. My normal vet recommended a wait and see approach for the boy as he grows. A second vet has recommended tacking. Does anyone have any experience and also any views on non-hereditary causes?
