Are any of you guys/gals in the Essex area?

It would be nice to get out and about with the pup with like-minded and sensible people, which it seems most on here are. My local puppy starter class seems to be mainly 6-8 month old out of control dogs where the owners have come to the reasoning that perhaps it's not as easy as they first thought!

We are in Downham, Billericay although Monty is still a bit young for full on walkies, he likes a good play with other doggies.

    Anyone local-ish?

James, I saw a Facebook page called Essex Spaniel Get-Together and thought of you. They are doing several sessions of gundog training in the next few months. If you are on Facebook it might be worth a look. :)

    Cool, thanks.

I'm not on facebook, but they do have a normal website which I've found. Sounds pretty good, thanks.

I had a look at the Facebook page and recognize a few names and faces. Some very serious field triallers amongst them. Also spotted the lady judge under whom I ran my very first working test. :)

Oh, I wouldn't want them to feel intimidated by us.... ;)
