    Hi,

My male labrador is 6 months and 3 weeks old. He is about 55cm from floor to withers. He weighed about 30kg at 6 months. I'm waiting until he is around 9 months for a castration. My question is, how tall should i expect him to be considering these figures? I've estimated he'll be around 40kg when he is grown but i'm uncertain about height as different sources are saying different things on when their height stops.

    Thanks.

It's hard to say really. My puppy is half Lab. He's 9 months old @ 42 pounds and 22 inches at the shoulder. They're all so different.

    Hi @Aziz

Why not let the dog reach his full potential, whatever that might be? The dog could keep on growing beyond the ninth month. I would not be in a rush to neuter, especially in view of the significant point that the case for neutering is a mixed bag. And even weaker, for such a young dog.
