Re: Eye - Eye! Thought you might like this picture of Charlie taken last summer by my youngest son Thomas aged 12 years at the time. He won a prize for it too Helen xx
Re: Eye - Eye! Those are lovely , I think retrievers of all breeds have the most expressive eyes, kind eyes I call them

Re: Eye - Eye! Charlie looks just like a 'full' labrador in that photo, Helen. He is a beautiful boy...
Re: Eye - Eye! Thank you one and all. Karen he does look like a full Labrador until he stands up then his extremely long legs and slender body give the game away! ;D Helen x
Re: Eye - Eye! Just wondered . Murffi also has light eyes - green or yellow depending on the light. I once put up a photo of him next to my Clumber on fb and a friend of mine, a wise old spaniel trainer, commented that I must have a good sense of humour to own a yellow eyed cocker and a clumber. ;D I am Murffi's biggest fan but even I sometimes wonder what goes on behind those strange coloured eyes ...
Re: Eye - Eye! Phew , I thought you might be about to tell us that yellow eyes are something to be concerned about Its harder to read yellow eyes I think anyway , Sams are almost eagle like and yet he is soft as a brush
Re: Eye - Eye! I personally find those eyes fascinating, but I know plenty of spaniel people who will not touch a cocker or a springer with light eyes.
Re: Eye - Eye! This is the photo of Murffi and Ziggy I mentioned. The Clumber has got very similar amber coloured eyes to Murffi's. But in his breed that is quite normal.
