    Been ever so sllllllllooooooowwwwwwwllllllyyyyyyy transitioning Bella over to the "new food" the vet wants her on....as in...it's day 7 and we're just barely at 50/50.... and what does miss Bella do?????

    ::) ::) ::) ::)

    Sneaks away from hubby in the morning and scoff up as much cracked corn as possible from the ducks/chickens as she can in less than 1 minute. :eek:

    So what do I get when I stop by to pick her up and take her home in the evening???? A mondo pile-o-poo that easily contains at least a cup of cracked corn (completely undigested of course) and is so soft you can't even hardly pick it up.... ::) ::) ::) ::)

    I scolded hubby strongly :mad: :mad: :mad: that he MUST watch her like a hawk and not let her anywhere near the corn....her tummy is far too delicate to deal with it. He has a bad habit of just opening the door and letting her out into the yard and ignoring her completely until she comes back of her own free will.... :eek: :eek: :eek: I keep telling him she is only 5 months old and needs supervision!!!

    I'm also thinking that I might cook up another batch of oatmeal to add to her daily ration again while we continue to transition to this new food. That seemed to really help firm her up and keep her feeling fuller (is that really possible with a lab?!?!?!? :eek: ).

    Always something with my little girl.... sigh...

    ;D ;D ;D Well played Harley! ;D ;D ;D

    Yeah....he keeps thinking that since we got her to "replace" Izzy after she died...that we will instantly have a cool, calm collected 4 year old dog again.... ::) ::) ::) He conveniently forgets the time that Izzy was a up and doing much the same things that Bella does. ::) ::) Like scoff as much corn as possible when daddy isn't looking
