Our Labrador will swallow a rabbit rib cage the size of a small grapefruit in one piece.

Would like to feed him the rest of the carcass, but worry he'll swallow leg bones in one piece too.

I don't think he'll choke, he can eat pretty big bits of meat, but I do worry about how well a leg bone will make it through the other end!

Is there a safe way to introduce them?

Once given, it'll be impossible to get the meat back off him!

I would not worry. My very kind cats leave fresh whole rabbits out for my lab most mornings. She chomps the lot. She is 7 and has had fresh delivery Spring till Autumn. She is fine with healthy teeth, as my vet says, rabbits are natures toothbrush!!!
