Willow is American/working type she is thinner and of finer build than the English type.
She should be taller than the English but all the ones we meet the same age are a lot bigger than her.
She was tiny when we got her at 8 weeks and only 2.8 kg.
Is this normal for this breed.
She is full pedigree but with a longer nose and doesn't have the blocky head.
She has long legs not stocky short legs.
Atm she has the build look and size of an English foxhound but golden coloured.

My 2 year old is working line (we’re in UK) and is also small. Nearly everyone who meets her thinks she’s still a pup.

She’s 20kgs. I love her size, I can still lift her, just, if I have to. She won’t be getting any taller now and will stay on the slim side because I control her food.

My boy (show lines) is fairly small- 23kg at 11 months. Compared to some of the monster labs you see around he looks teeny tiny, and very baby faced.

As long as their body condition is good I wouldn't worry.
