So puzzle has also cut her foot on some glass whilst going for a walk today , only noticed as there was blood on the floor first though was coming into season, closer inspection found cut on foot, back foot, just under her outside nail on the pad. Not got a good look as she won't stay still, she is currently eating her tea so will try to get a proper look later.
Re: First cut foot ended up going to the vets and she is on anti-B's for 5 days, vet did not want to stitch it as it is is an awkward place and they would not hold. She has to were a boot for 10 days to let it heal of fun, that means no mad charging around when off lead ???, try explain that to the jumping jack bouncing round the living room at the minute

Re: First cut foot Gosh quite seriously cut then Annabelle....good luck with keeping her quiet and hope it heals over successfully x
Re: First cut foot Onto our second boot now as she chewed the first one, not to the point of it going in the bin, it is repearable and will live to more mud. She is eating her anti-B's like high value treats , if only she could get barley to do the same and things would be great. Not happy with the wound, been weeping a lot and still open, has not even started to scab over, kept it as dry as possible. The flap keeps pulling back and making it start bleeding again, she is not to bothered about it, some licking and chewing but not much. it's been almost 5 days, that half of the time the vet said she should have a boot on to let it heal, at this rate it is going to take a lot longer than 10 days to heal.
